God is faithful, Single Mom. I don’t know what has brought you to this place: death, divorce, a terminal medical condition, something has brought you here, and you are facing a new normal, and man those new normals take a long time to adjust. You are not left. Or stuck. You may physically feel left. You may feel stuck. Humans are not always faithful. God is. You are not a forgotten blip on God’s radar screen. The course that He has mapped out for you – He will surely do it.
Father in Heaven, please fill Single Moms with a peace that transcends understanding and an assurance that you actively move to sanctify them, their whole Spirit, and soul, and body. You will keep them blameless. You are willing and able to hold them steady on a course of righteousness. You are not only willing, you faithfully will. Please keep 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 on their hearts as they come and go. You have called them to this place, you are faithful, you will surely do as you promise. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
“Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful; he will surely do it.” 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24
